Bastages, I puked in my cornflakes this am reading that in the paper.
Gonna hafta figger out how to hook the lathe up on the treadmill, PC too.

Maybe I should just raise the price of beer 81 % to cover, heck the insurance tripled, the electrical goes up 81 %, nobody stopped using their services, heck CS should raise his rates 81 % too... funny, big guys do it, we squack, and life goes on somehow, but at the face to face level, go up a few cents, and people take your head off....
thanks for the grumpage VB.. what's next for us to clobber our wallets.....

I'd put up a windmill and sell the electricity back to the damn theives

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Scott, that cut is for the "delivery charge" portion on the bill, not the KW hour rate...

Quote from the article: But the proposal would cut electric rates by about 46 cents per month for average customers -- and natural-gas rates by nearly $9 a month for customers.

The gas gets a little better cut on their "delivery charge", every cut helps, I guess.
The thing that irks me, is here on the Cape, we pay a premium for electricity, and we have the highest incidents of outages... if they are gonna charge me more, they better improve on that big time.. or I'm gonna become their new a-hole on the phone... every time it goes off, I'm going to call and ask for a "Power Interuption Credit"... if they can create all these bogus extra charges, why can't the consumer come up with some "creative credits" ?

Guess who are the highest paid power plant people in the country. The Cape Cod Cannel station. Most guys working there are over the 70,000 per year mark with all the overtime. ThomT
