Favoite Popper Rod?

What is your favorite popper rod? Pencils, chuggers, whatever......what is your number one rod for making alot of noise on top?

I got a Lami 1081 conventional that is absolutely sweet with my Abu 6500 Big Game......works poppers in the 1 to 2 ounce range into a frothy frenzy!!!!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

On the "Celtic Knot" I use mt tica 7' fast action M/H ueha521301s with my okuma AV50 pop's till you drop , anything from 1oz to 2.5 oz. you can hold this combo all day.

I like many of my rods for basic poppers. For pencils , my best for working them would be a rod build on a Lami GSH 138 1MH. Only good for 3 OZ or less though.

my favoite popper rod

I use a lami. 1081L 9' conventional, Fuji SIC's, #18 Fuji reel seat. Custom made by John Freese. a Daiwa Millionaire SW203, and 50lb. Power Pro.
imho this combo is one sweet rocket luncher with great control on poppers and plugs. this combo has a 1to 2 1/2 oz. sweet spot.
