death is getting old
My wife Patty's father passed away from a heart attack on Monday while my wife and I were out for a day for her ( her sister was there ) . Pat lived in our in-law apartment for 3 years and patty was his care giver 24/7 . Its been hard the last month or so with all that my father in law had going wrong with him .
My father in law was a very good man . He worked for the railroad for 44 years retiring 14 years ago . He was able to enjoy some good years being retired . He was an air force veteran serving during the korean war . He had 4 children and 4 grand children .
we have had a lot of family members pass in the last 4 years .
her mom
my dad
her brother in law
her uncle
her 2 aunts
her nephew
her dad

Sorry to hear that Chris. It seems when bad things happen they happen close to one another. WIth my family it was the same thing. I'm glad to hear he got some time to enjoy some good years. Thats why I always tell people, don't wait to things, do them NOW. My father hoped to finally do some fishing when he retired but he became sick and then passed on without having the chance to do much. He fought in Korea as well -Marines.
