Travel Rods

Dose anyone have any expirence with one of those 3 sec. travel rods ? I'm looking a getting one . The prices in Basspro and Cabelas range from $100-$250. I'm looking for something that would be easy to Travel with on a plane when I take the family on vacation. Any help would be great

If you're willing to spend $250 you might as well go with a Loomis Escape and the lifetime warranty. Great sticks.

Otherwise take a look at Temple Fork Outfitters. Their rods are only $100 to $120 and they also have a lifetime no questions asked warranty. Plus they are 90% or more of the rod that the Loomis is.

I have some rods from both lines at the shop and I've fished both, they'll serve you well.

I hadn't noticed that Cabelas picked up TFO spin rods till now. They're slowly all selling their souls to the big boxes. Some of the companies said they never would.
