Why would you want wind?

The wind drives the bait and fish closer to shore.

I always thought the wind was good to keep the hair out of my eyes !
Wind is good when there is bait and fish around !
4 to 5 more weeks .

Yeah, and I blew it......saw the weather channel this morning, and saw south wiinds for tomorrow.....so now it's gonna be southwest.....maybe I should wait a day....but noooooo....I decide to go to PP for flounder, not a friggin touch, and man, that Northwest wind was cold on the bridge, should have stayed home and did garden work.......story of my life.............so, can I convince myself that the garden stuff needn't be done tomorrow, and head south?.....

I forget the influence of wind and bait fish. But for cod fishing off Marshfield the seas will be nice and calm with a SW wind.

Hopefully I'll be able to post a favorable report tomorrow.

Steve,
That NW wind gets to run up all of the cold water from Plymouth to the bridge so I imagine it was cooold.
But your doing the right thing, can't get any fish here at my desk.
