Working at the Hartford fishing show this weekend. Anyone going, stop by and say hello. I'll be working in the Nor'east Saltwater booth.

I always park at my old high school (BC High) and walk the last 1/2 mile. No one is there on the weekend, but I don't know If they care during the week.

I'll be there at the opening bell this Saturday with my twin 9 year old boys. We haven't gone since 2003 and after 2 seasons with the new boat we're itching to look at more new rigs (which I can't afford ).

$400K and that Grady is all yours.

I was there yesterday and ghost town is right, that's the best.

I'll never understand how salesmen don't know their boat and motor prices off the top of their head, or readily available (expecially the the boats/motors they brought to the show).

I wish each engine maker sent a rep to the show with their own booth, asking each suzuki dealer to explain "continuously variable valve timing" (the difference between the 150 and 175hp) and you get different answers. Then they say, buy now because they're selling like hot cakes from the Miami show.

All in all it was a good show, if money was no object, I'd get one of those retro looking chris crafts for cruising.

The new 24' center console from Everglades was my favorite.

$99K with twin Honda 150s.

Maybe one of those meat packers from Nebraska will loan me the money since I didn't win the lottery!

Just came back from the show. Wow, looks like a will never own a new boat. Oh well, I like mine with experience. I had to park in my secound free parking area because everyone was in the one I poisted. Did anyone see those Southport's? Looked nice. I also liked the 36 Albermale.

Hey Van, was that you I saw perched up at the helm of that big Grady? You were all over that thing like white on rice. I'm thinking you must have bought it because you had your shoes on!
Oh mama! The price tag on some of that stuff!

But it was definately the sweetest boat I saw there.
To dream is nice. Whaler as always had some nice rides too.
Fountains are incredible, but thats not my style....
