				Plugger's bash 06

Ok, I've been talking with a few guys trying to get something set up for the fall pluggers bash. Need to get some input from people as to when and where we want to do this.

If we move it to Rhody, Bernzy has said we could do it where they stay. Big deck, couple of grills, water within a few feet of the deck. Would allow for test swimming plugs and maybe a few demos on how to use certain plugs. Also grilling food. Probably have to be Sat, Sept 30 if we go this route.

Cape, probably something like we have done the past couple of years. Hang out in a parking lot, talk and swap plugs, then fish afterwards. Are there other options for where we could do this to allow for grilling and be close to water?

Montauk has also been suggested as a possible location. I have never been there, so others would have to fill us in on where/what to expect.

Happy to entertain other options on this too.

For those of you who do not know that the bash is, it is an afternoon of plug talking, swapping, ho'in, and general bsing. A great way to meet other builders on the site. We also fish after the bash. The last couple have been pretty informal, and that is how we'll keep it.

Should also mention that we'll be setting up this one in conjunction with another of the plug building sites that most of you visit.

		I'll go...
I think Rhody would be a better bet... but I don't fish Montauk so maybe I'm totally wrong
But I do know that whenever I think of Montauk, I picture 1,000,000 rods sticking out while fishermen give each other dirty looks. I might be wrong about that too... if its in Rhody I'm in if its in Montauk I have to ask permission first

A beach house may be tough if a lot of guys deicide to show.
In RI, there is a great place called the canochet or canonchet club right on narragansett town beach. It is a nice hall with a kithcen attahced and a big deck on the beach. I have been to several wedding receptions and one funeral there and it is awesome. I imagine rental durring the summer would be pricey, but maybe, and I should repeat MAYBE, it would be affordable in late october/early november. It is right on Narragansett Town Beach, just northeast of the town beach pavillion. you could walk down the beach and be at the mouth of that famous river that was burned this past summer........
