MSBA Fishing Show/Plug Turning Demo

I have been approached by BasicPatrick (hogtied) to once again try to put together some plug turning demos for this years MSBA Fishing Show at Gillette Stadium. Many have inquired if it was going to be done again and I guess it will happen again but it depends on if I can get a few talented and interested bodies to help me out throughout the weekend. My time has been limited in regards to doing as much in years past for the show but I promised Patrick I would see what could be put together.

If any of you folks have an interest in spending some time in the demo booth the weekend of the show, please pm me and we can get the ball rolling. Last year seemed to be alot of fun and many folks enjoyed hanging out in the plug demo area.....I may do some turning myself but I am hoping some of you guys could jump on board and make a fun time of it!

I will be bringing many of my own tools for use so any interested folks don't have to worry about bringing a lathe, drill press and a few other items.

Please pm me if interested....what do you guys think? Should we do it again? Any ideas or requests I would love to hear them! Thanks guys. BF

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Mac an Steve turnin last yr was worth the price of admission.
I bet it was a bit of a pain in the butt especially breakin down an settin up an being locked in the fishbowl.I hate workin like that myself.I'm sure they pay others to do demonstrations or talks that are only one hr. long. These guys go all day.so 8 times what that Crazy guy gets would be a fair price.Call up Jet an see if they will do a sponsorship.U would be surprised. How many lathes do u think they sold on the east coast in the last 3 yrs. What about vega.slapp a banner up get a grand..I hope they do it this yr.It was the place to be..
