Fly Tying on Tuesdays

This is an open invitaion to anybody wanting to tie fly's every Tuesday night (through April) at Sachuest Point Federal Wild Life Refuge located at the south end of Second Beach in Middletown, RI. We use the classroom in the visitors center. It is allot of fun. All free. Everyone shares materials and ideas. We welcome beginers aswell as long time tiers. Becasue it is a federal facility... nothing is sold advertised or solicited. This is the second year we have done this.
We meet and fish on Tuesdays after the winter.

We post information weekly on Ken Abrams site at http://www.stripermoon.com/talkshop2/index.html
we post on the fly tying baord. Check it weekly incase there is a cancelation but we have been pretty steady.

All are welcome.

Tuesday report.

We tied tonight and tied a variety as usual. We played with some tiny (I Mean tiny sand eel patterns.. early June size... wigglin thread! And finished with a huge Alewife Fly. We plan to continue every week into April... many have made the Journey!

When the weather gets alittle better will be fishing every Tuesday night somewhere in RI... hopefully a couple weekend trips to the cape.
