Spinner Baits for Schoolie Bass

Have any of you guy's ever tried using Spinner Baits on Schoolie Bass? I was watching a program on TV, they were usig them in a river to catch Schoolie Bass. Wonder if it would word here in the bay!! I know they work on Clammer's favorite.

A friend of mine uses Bluefox Vibrax inline spinners to slay schoolies in the Spring.The salt deteriorates them fairly quickly and the heaviest weighs in at 5/8 I believe.He likes the silver and gold colors in the wildeye model.I'm gonna have to give it a try myself.

yeah they work! those bass jigs work too, in the minnow like colors.

When I first started in the salt all I had was my freshwater Bass tackle. I caught schoolies on just about all of it especialy spinner baits.

yep, they work fine,saw a gut at the N E Hunting and Fishing Show selling "oversized" spinners up to two ounces, almost made the purchase.

Make it idiot proof, and someone will make a better idiot.
