Teaching my son in law to fish, he bought himself a 25`er. He`s only been a couple of times and thinks a 28" fish is a monster. I have 3 grandkids all born in the last year, must train thier fathers in case I`m not around to teach. I must put aside being a fly guy and concentrate on my new spin rod.
As for me, I`m working little in May, 3 day weekends the first 3 weeks and then 10 days for Memorial day.The Whaler will get a workout.
After hooking 15 BFT on the fly last year and never boating one, I vow this will be the year.

Work less, sit back and enjoy myself more. Stop taking things so seriously and learn to roll with the punches. Spend some more time with my family and my friends.

I wanna see Thomas get a few more nice one's this year. He's psyched. John lemme know if you maybe wanna do a barge trip...I can take you guys out to the upper bay or something and let him bang schoolies like I did for Thomas back then. He'd have a ball in the boat.
Jeremy saw his first striper last year...at 2 he still remembers it. All 12" of it. He wants to hold it like back then
Memories for a lifetime.
I wanna catch a keeper in Maine this year.

What to get my 30 this year, although I would settle for jumping straight to a 40. Also would like to get my first BFT this year. And like a say every year - FISH MORE.

My goal is to break my own striper record, which should be easy since it's not that big.. 33in... I'll be doing a lot of fishing both in the Canal along the rocks and on boat in the Buzzards Bay end of the Canal.
I aim to also try catching a doormat of a Fluke also.

Well since I was not able to fish last year, Anything I do this year will be fun fun fun!!~
I am going to be out there every chance I can!! I am bringing my boat home Easter and will be ready the next week, I like to get some Cod, then move to the squid and mac's.
Then the Fluke in June and the Bass in July, and anything else I get into!
Year before I got on some real nice Seabass in Vinyard sound, like to get into them again?
Its just going to be Fish Fish Fish!!

My goal last year was to land a 20lber from the surf. Unfortunately I got a few 16-18 lbs fish but no bigger. I'm still going to go after a 20 + lb fish and would have no problem jumping to a 30lber.
I also got a girl friend over the winter. We started dating in Mid november so she has yet to see me in full fishing mode. I would like to put her on a few schoolies or at the very least some BLO FISH
