Cart before the horse

Anyone have any luck with having a teaser follow the lure?

Going to give it a try with some big flies and rubber.

Say a pencil or tin and have the teaser follow the deliverer.

Good health and family

Try a piece of mono around a foot long with a teaser at the tail in lieu of a bucktail.

SD...thats what I meant...maybe 18 inches off the tail of plug/tin.

I know most people have a smaller teaser before the larger plug. Seems to trigger an instinct in Stripers thats like .... hey these guys are busy why don`t I grab his snack...just wondering if anyone tried the reverse with any success.

Good health and family

yes.....

Using a trailer fly is dynamite at times.
There are times when a dropper in front of the plug will not
get hit, but the trailer will.

Good Luck.
