i went out today and
the only thing i hit was a f@&$%*#@ log (no damage) man is there a ton of crap in the water , i could not buy a mackrel 2 hours jigging , saw no birds , marked no fish , cast lures in 1/2 dozen honey holes nadda , it felt like august not june , and to make things worse i think i saw a dog outside  did anyone get out and at least get some macks ? in the boston area

I surfcasted a very productive south shore spot for the entire outgoing tide and managed ONE schoolie........But I wasn't at work

It was flat calm today. Must go deep and slow.

skunked around gloucester harbor last night . no macks, so trolled tube and worm for 2 hours or so..... nada... couple hits but not like past seasons around this time.

I hit a log last season  IF that don't scare the S%$# out of you nothing will....
This year is going down FAST well into June now....
I ask myself should I have spent more time fishing the live macks for bass ....
and less time filling the freezer  ???
My next trip will be for tuna/cod
We will see the next 3 weeks should be interesting.....
I have not heard of any 50s from the harbor this spring ????
