COMING SOON TO A RIVER NEAR YOU!

Had a great night tonight 24 herring=18 fish over 26" biggest 39" also lots of schoolies on topwater and rubba. I took a land luber out on the boat to the river and he caught his biggest fish ever a nice 32" on a herring. We could not get the bait in the water fast enought it was unreal!!!! As soon as the bait hit the water we were on We left at 8:45 as we were out of bait and had to get Jim back home but the fish were still smashing bait on top. The tide had just turned so I can't imagine what it was like a half houir later

GBOUTDOORS,

I would guess you'll be into 40 pound stripers any day now!

Maybe even the magical 50!

Good hunting,

Mike

GS I got your message and will call you later. Sat. night still looks good say 5:00 at my house in Fairhaven I will get the directions to you. And Flyfisher I do hope that your not getting answers and bragging were not directed at me as I see you did pm me and I have not got a chance to pm you back yet. As you can see GS who I met on this board is going to one of my favorite spots on Sat as he took me to the thames river this winter and showed me how to fish that spot. I am having a few (17) members over to Cuttyhunk for a derby in June and will be cooking food and bringing bait and other items to help all have a great time and catch some great fish!!! I have seen a few posts from some of the guys that I have met and showed some of my (hot spots) but did not even think to ask them to give up their spots(even thought I know were they are fishing I feel if they want me along they will ask I hope that if you can make it to some of the derbys you look me up I will be more than happy to fish with you and talk spots. Goose were are you fishing???? I met Goose here and we will be deer hunting on some of my yes private land this fall I also called him to see if he wanted to fish with me on Tue but he went his own way FlyFisher please take this in the light hearted way it is meant and check your pm.

read your pm I am referring to pm's that are almost several weeks old I understand most don't live at their computer, again thanks a general description was fine with me.

It looks like the larger fish are migrating up that side of the bay first I'm not hearing of larger fish from the other side yet
