Rockport Action
The big low pressure system from the last few days increased the action in Rockport in the last 2 days. We had 6 ft swells rolling in all day yesterday and were knocked down to 3 footers this morning. The West wind helped cut the swell but not the fishing.
Out this morning for a 90 minute quickie and had all the action I could handle. Schoolies were plentiful in the wash right at my feet and hitting everything I threw at them.
Wanted to try some plastic but couldnt stop landing them on the usual small swimmers. Too bad reality kicked in and I had to go back to the real world......
The action is fairly good for May15 as we usually dont do this well from the coastline until later in the month.
