That WAS my favorite rod 1088 Sabre 
snapped above the guide. almost had it beached(the weeds that is) ,snap.
only 14 lb fireline. Should not have broke
maybe CMS will replace the blank?
now I have no bomber rod for beach

slip that sucks. cms will replace the blank, especially the way that one snapped. you'll probably have to pay for it to be re-wrapped unless you do it yourself.
i've been doing the herring thing lately with moderate sucess. nothing special. you having any luck jigging? i think it's about time to rig up some skins. i read J Powers hit a decent fish and we all know he don't fish any stinkin' herring!

Dave, that's what I was using
JP had a 20 this am and a 27 Sat., I had a 20 Sat. am.
I'm done with herring forever maybe.
I'll rewrap that myself or bassmaster if I get another.
