Looking for new survice provider

I am getting with a rate hike again from ATT BI (media One).
another $7 per Mo 3rd price increace in 1-1/2 yrs. it's now going to be $53.+ cable for the TV is seperate.and not to mention the worst survice I have ever seen.

What do you guys have for a provider ?

am I beter off going to DSL or satelite?

I have had rcn for the last two years. Their rates have gone up since we first joined. Overall their customer service has been pretty good when we have had a problem. Good luck.

DSL can be shakey and there are a lot of technical issues that influence quality of service. Satelite sucks. Really not worth it. High latency and no online gaming...

To check out DSL, go to dslreports.com and see if it's even available, then read the reviews. DO NOT get Verizon if you can avoid it.

Mike I got Dsl, and it flies. It depends on how close you are to the central office. I have had it for 2 years now and have had little trouble. You can go onto Verizon's website, type in you phone number, they will test your line and let you know if it is available.

I have online access thru Taunton Municipal Light and Power or www.tmlp.com and have had no problems. I believe they offer high speed access to businesses. This option may only be good if Taunton is a local dial up though. I am not sure they offer any other phone exchanges. Price for monthly unlimited dial up is $14.95
