Probably no fishing for me as it the Anniversary and we're off for a day or two...

I am doing some studing for the EPO exam tonight and also packing for the Tri-State. Leaving for the Cape right after the exam and will be down there until Monday night. I won't get much fishing in for the tournement, but I have all of Monday to fish. I should have a good idea where the fish are when the tournment is over.

Ill be fishing just not sure if it will be trout or stripers and if stripers Conn , the canal or RI . now thats a lot of choices to make !

Help my Dad put a new liner in his pool. Maybe hit the local bass pond fo 1/2 an hour or so after the kids go to bed.

Trip to Quicks' Hole just got cancelled

Hit the surf tonight at the home made herring run for a bit, Sturday night to the southlands. Going for the LONG walk.

Well, after 5 trips in 7 days, I'm takin' it a bit easy this weekend. Probably launch saturday early am and then meet up with the wife and kid and take them out for awhile.

My wife is itchin' to get some fish after hearing my reports after each trip.

I think sunday I will just sleep in.

John, if you are seriously thinkin' about a day off to fish, next week would probably be the week. I'm thinkin' about taking a day since I have a wedding in PA the weekend of the 8th and I won't get to fish. The next week my dad will be up, so I'm already off a couple days. If you're up for it, let me know and we can pick a day.

I've cleared some short notice days off with the boss, but I'd like to let him know asap.

If you can't fish this weekend, at least you'd be gettin' out soon

Hitting the Ditch for the first time this year. been looking forard to it the last two weeks while in Mexico. The tides are good for fishing from my perdestal if we get there early. Later on we'll move a little west looking for a monster after dark.

Then busy busy the rest of the weekend.

Maybe I'll boil some lobsters Sunday!

Heading over to Joppa Flats at the mouth of the Merrimack with an Uncle and cousin who will be down from VT. My uncle is an incredible fly tyer and fisherman, and my cousin Katie(his daughter) is one hell of a fisherwoman! How many 19 year old girls are diehard anglers? I guess it's in the blood!

Anyway, a close friend is lending me his 18' center console for the weekend since he will be down in CT. I just spoke to him, he's out on the water right now and reported several fish in the mid to high 30's this morning, including a nice 38". Another friend of ours caught a 42" on the flats yesterday, so it looks like the large are here in full force!

We're bringing a video camera tomorrow to film some of the action. I just got some nice pics back from the past few weeks, I'll post them when I get a chance to scan them in.

Jettyjumper, if you're reading this, I'll be out in "Light Tackle" all weekend. Come over and say hello if you get a chance to make it out there. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Tight Lines!!!

Slip and I went out to the Province lands..........
I busted off 2 of My best Pikes

caught a Blue fish. a long body with Tooth...
Slip got a nice one

I had a Guy from Ct cast over My head and dead stick..
So I caught a nice Bass and tossed it back...
slip says Mid teens..... so thats fine By Me......
they look and freak out due to Me tossin Back the fish....
so I catch another one

and let it go.....
I wanted to Be in 3 places at once But fished the drop and sundown, then We left the province lands and went to Town hall

We couldnt stay for the late Bite.

I know Slip woulda been all over Me with that toothy bastage

Ya, the googan casts over you and spikes it, then when your line hits his on the retrieve he thinks he's got a fish so he mo'sees over to rod and even as you are walking towards his line to get untangled the guy is so focused on his baitstick that he tries to set the hook, I just shook my head.

but BM was very controlled and did not say much. Even when the one with sneakers on comes down and tosses cast after cast with a bomber right inbetween me and you

. Miles of beach and they plant their arses on top of us, like the fish are only in front of us. They were so ignorant , they never said a word to us, they were just awed that I let a nice fish go and mumbled amongst themselves. That place is nice BM , sorry again about ya pikes, atleast I got one back for you, my popper is out there somewhere
