Cape Ann Striped Bass Open

Just an FYI about an event I have cooked up for the summer bass season. This July 20-21, the 1st annual Cape Ann Striped Bass Open will be held up here in the Gloucester area.

The tourney is going to benefit Cape Ann Youth Hockey, a non-profit local organization serving young hockey players in Gloucester/Rockport for 20 years. I am very invloved in the local youth hockey scene here on Cape Ann as I have 2 boys in the program and I am also on the board of directors for CAYH.

CAYH thought it would be a great idea to put this tourney on and bring not only local players and their families together but to also incorporate other communities as well.

The entry fee of $20 will be applied directly to CAYH. Most important:

1st place $150 cash for adult
1st place $150 cash for youth (under16)

I have just ordered coozies with the tourney logo on it and they will be given to each entrant upon registration. Entries will be accepted at :
