Besides, striped bass, flounder fishing is one of my favor!

Dear S-B:

I found flounder fishing is quite interesting when I caught 18" fluke at the warham river near the M&D this April.

To avoid 100-mile drive between chelmsford and wareham. I wish I can find a near-by place to fish flounder (winder flounder will be fine) at north shore.

Last Friday, I went to P.I. and asked Kay about the best spot for flounder fishing and she recommended me a section of beach near the parking lot one. However, I did not catch any flounder there except a skate between the highest tide around 2:30 PM to half out-goiing tide around 5:30 PM--I was used #6 snell hook dressed with bucktail teaser and sweetened with clam stripe .

Any of our S-B memeber who also have fished flounder before, please give me a few suggestations about the places, baits, timing (what section of tide) and condition (temperature or day or night) to catch flounders.

By the way, is it right that between the P.I. and cape ann, there are very few fluke, tog ? Is it right that both of flounder and tog rarely feed at evening time?

In R.I. theres a fleet of boats that follow the fish around so my stratagy is to stick with the fleet! My freind Irek catches fluke from the beach. Where are you Irek..................

Dear Scotch Bonnet:

Did you catch those flukes on the boat or on the shore in Rohde island!

Heard anybody catch any flounder on the shore?

P.S. Anyone around north shore have caught any fluke, please shed some light here!
