Polaris knockoff's
Made these for my three brother-in-laws for Christmas. I've always been inspired by YoungSalt's polaris (there just so clean) and the looks of a superstrike, so I thought I would give them a try. 6" 2oz.
By the way...they went over well.

Those are Sweet Lower.
I know a place where I would love to toss the white one in the spring...
It will get crushed by a hungry bass.

They look nice, I don't fish plugs very often, and I'm sure this has been discussed/done, but do you guys (plug fishers) ever fish these plug backwards?
looks like a nice squid if you removed the rear hook and tied your line on there.

They look great!
Those are real good knockoffs of Youngsalts' knockoffs of superstrikes'
keep up the good work.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Thanks for all the comliments guys. Fun to actually finish some plugs again.
Fishsmith...there are some guys on here that make really nice squids. Don't think you could really just flip these, without totally changing the weighting.
Charleston...shot of lead in front of hook hole and another load in the rear. Made them from AYC. They sit at a 45 in the water. I played around with weighting a little bit, but this seemed to do the trick. Made myself a couple too, so we'll see if the fish think their weighted right.
