Anyone going to be on the water tonight?

I am thinking about drifting some herring along either BI's North Rip or PJ's Center Wall....I should be heading out about 6:00pm...I'll monitor channel 69.....

How's the fishing been along the south county beaches, any improvement? I heard the surf guys are finally finding some schoolie bass.

No tonight for me 179......I got pretty burnt up when I saw you on Tuesday, and am still waiting for the swelling to go down....almost ready again.....long sleeve shirts for me from now on ALWAYS.....lesson learned......

I am thinking about possibly going up to the north shore tomorrow and live lining pollack. I had so much fun doing it last Sunday off Rockport.

If by chance I end upp off BI or PJ, I'll give you a shout on 69..

Good fishing!

179, got out tonight on friends new boat, from about 8 to 1130. Tried hailing SB on 69, but no repies. Didn't hear much else either on 69 -- pretty much dead all night (but not sure of radio range, is new). Here's the scoop: out of channel at Galilee, marked many fish (Shad?). Trolled plugs around Center Wall to east gap, nada, but marked a few fish. Drifted eels back from apex to west gap, nada, but again marked a few on bottom. Moved to Deep Hole at about 10 pm. Casting eels outside surf line at Carpenters and..
BINGO. Between three of us, hit five nice fish. No scale, but my biggest was measured at 44" +/-, and is now my personal best fish Smallest fish was about 34", and only two bluefish chops. Great night on the water, smooth swells, no moon
