Thumbs up Got out last night with GS...

Got out last night with GS in his home waters with the hope of finding a large school he ran into previously but this time, with the feed bag on...

Well, weather was a little rough, we harldy marked any fish and we only caught a few... It was a slow night but still good to get out... Several shredded eels due to some bluefish action. Did manage a 20#er last night though...

GS, thanks for the invite

There is life after dark , but you can't convince me it's more rewarding. I'm sorry but I'm switching back to my early morning routine, which even on a bad day is a guarantee of 10-15 fish, with a shot a large or two in the early morning low light hours. This after dark crap, hung lobster pots, can't see the waves or ledges, is for the birds.....or bats. Nice fish John and that blue before that was a nice fatty as well, same beach area too.

Yeh that blue looked bigger 'til it got on board but it was still a good pulling fish....

While I won't say that night fishing from a boat isn't more difficult at times, it certainly can be productive. Is is better than first light when you usually go out? Maybe, maybe not... When you're fishing first light, you have probably the best time, certainly in your waters. The thing that was toughest at night was naviga ting those damn pots.... But I would not toss nights out just due to that one slow night...

Again thanks and remember to try Cuttyhunk
