Mint Crack 300
Almost new, Crack 300. Still has seal on side of spool. Paid $150 in 94 and I used it once. Has been converted to no bail. Firm price
Sell because I am pretty much out of the surf.
Will consider trade for a good conventional I can use on the boat.

What size reel does this compare with? Heard about them but never handled one.

It's bigger than a Penn 706. It's the reel that the original VS 300 was based on. The only other comparable reel in size to it was the Mitchell 388/488. Figure about 400 yards of 20# mono.

What Mike P said is accurate. Great reel. I'll just never use it again. Steve McKenna was using the same model on Cutty last year.
