Plugfest and Flaptail

I was standing in front of the food table surveying which particular treat I was going to devour next when Steve walked up and starting picking at something also. Next thing I know one of the plug makers that I didn't know walked up to Flaptail and handed him a plug. Flaptail handed the plug back and said, "you allready gave me my plug this morning (must have been talking about the swap action which I missed), I can't take two from you." Talk about integrity, honesty..........how many of us plug ho's would have had the nutz to give a plug back. I am not surpised Flaptail did that, not at all, but one has to admit it took courage.

Flaptail is good people.....and an honest "Plug Ho" to be sure.....and generous in turn as well!

Whoever the "giver" of that plug was....I think it was supposed to go to me?

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Just got back.. 6 miles in the cold.. wind was wicked...
still managed to work up a good sweat fire roads in the park lots of hills.. took 53 minutes
BM called at the halfway mark.. I told him he shoulda come.. he said .. no need.. I got my plug.. ...
gonna be switching to walking sand soon, to really burn the muscles.

Got to get ready for plover closure season.. get them legs in shape.
My inspiration is a 70 year old surfcaster.. he is doing 8 miles a day!

Karl, would have liked to meet you as well. I'd walk quite a ways for that pictured needle. Its sweet looking. Next years I'll ahve to get there as soon as the doors are open.

I've put almost 300 miles on my new treadmill in the last few months. Have to get more regular on it though. Its good to see we all have our priorities in order as far as exercise go.
