Looks like the bass have begun their treck north. We ran from Oregon Inlet almost up to the Va. line today 55-miles each way and did not see nor hear of any fish taken. Bad news for us, good news for you folks......
You might get some of them as they head up the James River to Spawn. We used to catch them up in between the ships of the James River Reserve Fleet and in the 80 foot hole at Deep Water Shoals...
