My Best (day/ night) of fishing happened when the weather was...

...nasty, raining hard all morning turning just dank dark and misty for the rest of the day, overcast, wind was blowing out of the SW, everything smelled like bass everywhere, and the water was whipped up and smashing on the rocks.

Mine happend on a warm september night on the backside. THe tide was dropping and it was bright, full moon with little cloud cover. The current was ripping across the 2nd bar and right at the drop off of the inside trough the fish were piled up. Fish up to 40lbs were cought my biggest was 25lbs but had a lot that size. Lost a fish that night that pulled line of my 6500 abu like no other fish I have cought from the surf.
