What gets the fish moving?

With the movement of the sun being the only constent and water temps able to be anywhere from 2-5 degrees different every year . What do you think has more of an influence -Sun angle or water temps? Let the games begin.

Water temps. Fish, being pokilothermic, are dependent to a large extent on the water temperature to influence their body temperature. Warmer waters make warmer bodies, faster metabolisms, more eating, migration. Water temperature differences also help explain why fish hang around longer some autumns than others. The sun angle is the same every year.

Arrow that and

i firmly believe....
the smell of the soil from rivers during the spring rains.

this smell, in parts per million attract the bass back to where
they originally were spawned. same as salmon.
