going to get my inshore comm gillnet liscence. what size mesh? 1.5" or little bigger? what size mono 6/8/10? i've got rec net but it's not quite cutting it.

Be carefull. I believe most measure the size by pulling the square tight and measuring knot to knot. 2" square might be considered a 3.5" net. A friend ordered a 3.5" net online and got a 3.5 X 3.5 sqare which was a little big.
