Crazy Al's Dad Passed Away Yesterday

I just spoke with Al and found out that his father passed away late yesterday.

I'm sure there are a lot of people on this board that know and love Crazy Al and would like to pay their respects. I'm sorry I don't have any details other than I believe the funeral will be next Thursday.
As soon as something appears in the paper could someone post the details?

Al, my deepest sympathy goes out to you and Donna and the rest of your family. I'm sure you'll find solace on the shoreline somewhere as you remember all the past fishing trips and quality time spent with your dad.

Mike

Sorry for your loss Al
Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Hello my friends and fishing colleagues,

Thank you all for your heartfelt sympathies and it is deeply appreciated!

As some of you may know, since my mom’s passing, my dad was distraught and very ill. He crossed over peacefully in his hospital bed and now resting in peace with my loving mom.

We will mourn in the coming days but I will be back soon to harass those pajama fish.

Once again, thank you so much for all the condolences…. I am blessed with your thoughtfulness and my family also thanks you for your kind wishes.

Sincerely yours,

“Crazy” Alberto Knie and family

Al,
I just got back from vacation and heard about your father. I'm so very sorry for your loss. As you know, both of my parents passed recently. The nice note you wrote me at the time was greatly appreciated.
When my father died, my mother went shortly after. I guess when two people have been together for so long it is hard for one to live without the other.
It's a terrible time but the good memories remain. Wishing you and your family all the best.

Arne
