It's been a bad week
Last Sunday night my uncle past away suddenly in the hospital with a heart attack at age 63. He did have a bunch of health issues. We buried him yesterday.
Today after being at war for the past few weeks with the company I have worked for for 12 years, I gave my resignation.
On the way home from that meeting my mother calls and informs me that my father had passed away this morning. My dad had Alzheimer's Disease pretty bad, the last time my sister and I went to visit, It was pretty bad. Dad, rest in peace. You will be missed.
If it comes in threes I think I'm done.

Jeesh Bob, that sure put my crappy Friday in perspective. Surround yourself with your loved ones this weekend, eat well, share some memories. Look forward to a new job opportunity as a good thing and ring in a new fishing season with a biggun. Wishing you the best, Ross

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

very sad BoB - this news...
there are many belief systems out there.... about life and death...
the here after... i like to think that each life time is a sojurn to earth to get closer to perfection or god.... and that the spirit lives on...
when i lost my dad BoB this poem helped me a great deal and it still does today... because you never really get over the loss...you merely learn how to live with it...over time...
so when your out there in NATURE... taking in all the beauty
she can deliver.... remember this poem ....or it's meaning ...
as it really helps.
.............................
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
mary elizabeth frye - 1932
my condolences -Rav
