How old are you?

Because I work two jobs, have a 9 month old son, and maybe get out twice a week for a total of 8 hours.... and I have PLENTY of time to experiment while I am out there.

There is no "answer" to your question.. other than to stick a hook in it, and see if it works. From there, people like what ever works best for them. They found out thru expirementation.

Try it..
You might like it...

if u dont have time to experiment, why even bother fishing? yes this site will give u most answers, but if ure just s#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g people for answers all the time and not willing to experiment and give other people ure results on this experimentation, ure burnin ure bridges really fast. people here have no problem helpin someone out but we all want to catch fish, however, its all about tryin it out for ureself and learning by mistakes, not by havin someone tell u exaclty wat to do every time.

Here is what I do and it works for me...

1. How do u drift....just put a piece on a bare hook and cast out???

Sand eel on a 5/0 hook snelled with 40lb floro 3' leader to a swivel with an egg sinker above the leader. Adjust weight between 1/4 oz to 1 oz depending on how fast the tide is running. Don't cast out, just a gental lob right before the rip.

2. Can you fish with a dead eel? Never done it but I don't see why not. I'd just do a very slow retrieve...

3. how do you fish dead pogies? yo yo (i personaly don't do it)

4. How do you fish chunked pogies..... is their a special rig?
I use a treble hook and weight if needed.

5. Where is a good place to BUY Pogies near dennis?
Don't waste your money on rotten bait shop pogies. Go snag them. They are everywhere.

6. can you troll pogies or squid? If so how do you set it up?

Never done it.

sns, have you ever gone fishing in your life??? The fun of fishing is trying out different techniques yourself, and to go explore for different fishing spots. If you dont want to do that, you were'nt meant to be a fisherman.
