Wink

yeesh. even tho the rips are only 9 feet deep within eyeshot of shore - they are really strong. would definitely float to china if you get caught up in that.

Hats off to Rescue team, kind of gives a little faith that this world isn't completely screwed up.
That dude is so lucky to be alive, and the guys on the Parker are crazy Mofo's with Mojo. Saving the guys boat was a quite chance they took, I hope that man hooks them up large.

We were talking about what would be a safer way to stop the unmanned boat, and came up with, trying to throw anchor or some heavy line in the boats path, to jam the motor and force it to stop.

Easiest safeset way is with an anchor ball and line. Use the ball to float the line out and pull it in the path of the runaway boat.

Awesome job by all those folks that contributed to the rescue effort. It's great to hear of a happy ending.

I always were a self inflatable PFD when I'm alone on the boat. Even with the PFD however, a lot can still go wrong and you need help if you go in. Great job by all!

Amazing, I hope if I am ever in a situation like that that I could respond with such unselfishness..

Used hard and put away dirty....
