Need 30-35 lobsters

Putting on a clam/lobster bake in the NH seacost area. I need 30-35 1 1/4 lb lobsters. Anyone know a good source? A commercial guy that will sell at the dock would be great. What should I expect to pay?

Also need 12-15 lbs of steamers.

Thanks!

(sorry, but this post didn't seem to fit any of the other forums, hope it's ok here)

2 places on rt 1 in york will give you great prices, and also the cape ned#^&#^&#^&#^& pound just north of kittery, they don't have telephone number you have to go in there. Your going to have a tough time with hardshell right now they're in the middle of the molt, you'll find lotsa soft shell though.

If they can't help you then call Simpson's seafood in Wiscasset...

David's Seafood in Salisbury, Mass., right on the NH Seacoast ... there is also a lobster pound in either Portsmouth or the town next door ... you walk by it from Strawberry Bank heading to the ocean.

I don't know what the law is in NH, but in Mass, only someone with a retail license can legally sell you shellfish (or any other fish for that matter). A commercial shellfisherman can't legally sell directly to you.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.
