The tuna are still there in numbers.
It was cold today leaving the dock but the result was the same.

Your typical 6-pack of 50-54" fish. Easy morning, easy fishing. Going to try one or two more times before I switch to codfishing.
Still have a trip or two worth of gas left in the tank I want to burn.

I think I am a little bored of the tuna game right now. I get more enjoyment out of others catching them to be honest. They are out there to be caught right now for those who can get on them. I just need a break and get back on the bass.

That is what I was saying after the bass season ended. I didn't want to see another bass for a while. That is when I really missed fluke fishing. I always looked forward to fluke fishing after bass closed down. Variety is the spice of life.

You are right . Just this year I tried it for the first time off the WHOI pier as a friend works there. I had a ball and lots of action. The fish are smart and head under the pier as soon as you hook them and bust you off on the pilings. Guess I need to give him another call.
