SOCO
I just got in from a spot in SoCo where the bait was so thick you gould walk on it. Peanut bunker, sand eels, silversides, bay anchovie and BASS!!
They were very tough to fool with all that bait but there were lots of them. Nothing huge. Biggest was about 34". Storm shads were the ticket. The smaller, the better.
Don't quit. it's not over yet.

Congrats
Glad to hear someone found fish in SOCO. At the western edge all I found were cold, wet skunks. Great looking water that wasn't all that dirty, but no life at all.

Now you guys have had enough of the bass for this season, it's time to send those fish south to me. Actually I always had great luck around Veterans Day on South County beaches not big fish but non stop action with smaller guys.

Lots of small ones this morning and very COLD. The end is near, maybe one or two more beach trips for me did remove cooler and rod rack off the truck this afternoon, maybe some blackfish if the wind ever stops.
