WANTED: Stainless Grapnel Anchor
Wanted: Stainless Grapnel Anchor for a 26' boat.
I have jigs, weights, a few nice rods etc, i'd be willing to trade for it.
All reasonable offers considered.
I would entertain a galvanized one, but it needs to be completely rust free. This is not for a work boat, so I can afford to get rust stains everywhere.

rig a danforth anchor break-away OR just dont store said rusty anchor on the boat and you wont get rust stains.
good grapnels are usually made of re-bar NOT stainless so they can be bent and re-bent when it gets hung IMHO. also, make sure it is heavy, otherwise with a 26ft boat it will never get down fast enough for you to anchor accurately!

Thats what we do. but, rig it backwards and wire-tie the chain... much easier to free...
