Bernzy made my day
Traded a spare plug for a brand new "Big Howdy", a 2.5 oz version of the smaller Surf Howdy. Gave it a swim today. Took a while to get it back.

That's great Numby. I hope you get a few more before it's over
I'm getting a rare second chance to fish RI again this fall. I'll be throwing some "Big Howdies" towards the end of next week.

27.5 on a good scale. Short but very thick. Nothing worth bragging about, just an average "good fish". Posted it more to remind people how much fun daytime fishing with topwater plugs and small rods can be, even in November. Credit to Bernzy and to you other guys who build these quality plugs. Eels in the night obviously work, but if you don't try plugs by day you are missing out on a ton of fun.
