Built a new spinner

Built a new spinner last week, got tired of drying one at a time. The black frame is a solid plastic type of board they use for commercial shower stales in gyms, they were scraps that were thrown in the dumpster at the job. The spool is from a roll of cat5 cable we use in work. The motor is from a roister oven my wife did not need anymore. I connected the spool to the motor with a piece of ¼ 20 bolt rod that is threaded into an aluminum coupler and attached to the motor via a setscrew. The bolt rod goes through the other piece of board and a small barring. The bolt rod is centered in the spool with two hard plastic pieces I made to lock into the large hole in the spool. The plugs go onto some springs I got at HD and the other side is some SS wire I bent up to lock onto the spool. Not the best but functional and made mostly from scrap.

Nice work Vince..
If I can give ya some advice..
U have to make sure the wheel does not come away from the motor..
Them motors are not designed to be pulled on.the gears come apart and not mesh.threaded rod has a tendency to do this..2 locking bolts on both sides of the bearing should work..As long as the bearing is locked in..
Moving things want to come undone..
drill a small hole in the threaded rod for the set screw..So it has some bite..
Get a longer set screw if ya have to.If u look around enough u can find small hooks for the holders with threads to take a nut and washer on the back..The wire looks like it's not gonna hold up over time..When u set ur plugs on the spring twist em a few times before u hook em on the other end and they wont flop as they spin..
