Any word from our...

Any word from our Joisey Brethern from their supposed invasion over the weekend?

All I noticed were the normal CT plates down around Weeky on Saturday night...

Glad you did OK, save a couple...

i shot down & fished Weeky for an hour 'n half Saturday night. I was tired from moving my Boston office all weekend but it was just TOO nice out not to fish. Got a decent fish and a couple strikes in between the weeds all the while I was looking west thinking you guys were hammering them. Ya know, that place hardly ever weeds up

That is one place that I really prefer not to fish solo, with my high center pf gravity I've already had a few stumbles out there (and it's probably the B E S T ) surfcasting spot on the mainland, certainly in Rhody this time of year...

Hehehehe... It's W A Y over the bridge, so far you'd need a passport... Let's say that if you were looking at a map, this spot would be peein' on Fishers Island NY

How are you on rocks that make the Ditch look like Barnstable Flats?

John, farther walk to Nauset Inlet from Coast Guard Side? That's a fun one but well worth it, well except when you walk out there in the middle of the night only to find mung - this makes it even more fun - a mistake you only make just once I tell ya....

Actually the walk out to Naps aint that bad provided you take your time. Try going out before it gets really dark if it's your first time out there so you get accustomed to the riprap. Travel light, carry your waders over your shoulder and put em on once U get out there. Wear some decent hunting boots for the walk out and you should be ok. Also, bring 2 lights with ya! I dropped my light on a dark as can be night last year and I was in lotta trouble let me tell ya. It was really hard trying to navigate in the dark out there. Be careful and bring lotsa eels.
