MSBA Show 2008
Hasn't been much advertising that I've seen for this
March 1-2, 2008 Stonehill College Easton, MA
Comeon talk it up and support the msba club in their new venue. Whether your selling or buying....

Should be a great show! I have not seen the space myself but heard its great! Great location right off Rt. 24! Easy access and lots of FREE parking! Start saving your pennies! This is the permanent home MSBA has been looking for for this show so as Salty says......lets show your support and make it a winner!

i've never been to the MSBA show. Last year I said I was going to go since, in Foxboro, it was only 15 mins from my house, and I did not attend. This year its even closer to me house, if I dont go, I am a loser.

I'm looking forward to it! I live for the shows in the winter! I know lat year things were dampened by the weather, so it should be easy to beat that this year.
by the way, Happy new year all, I've been AWOl from the site for a while

Probably won't go this year.I get lost way to easy and this show bounces from place to place way to frequently, three different places in the last four years.Gillette was nice, quick and easy to find and very centrally located.

Yup! Gillette was never going to be the permanent spot.......its that MSBA was looking for a permanent home for the show and rather than not have it at all and lose all that momentum we had built up over the years, we chose the only venue that was large enough. The club did not make any money the last 2 years......but once you stop something like that show for a year, you lose all that you have worked hard to build and have to start over! Basswipe, I am 99% sure that this will be the permanent home and I can guarantee you will enjoy it! It should not be any more difficult to get to from where you are than Gillette! Come on Basswipe.....give it a shot!

Is there anything for my 4 and 6 year old to do? They still talk about the casting and virtual fishing exhibit from Providence last year.
If not no big deal, they love to look at plugs and other lures and ask great questions over and over. Exhibitors should consider themselves warned.

LAST time I went to Stonehill college I woke up drunk and naked on Whitehorse Beach covered in 5,000 sand flea bites. She was worth it That was 25 years ago though

I am just glad they are not having it at Gillette anymore, they didn't make ant money and the place was too expensive.
I hope there is some money someplace for some advertising.
I'll be there anyway I'm sure.

Congrats the gentlemen of MSBA, sounds great!
Easy to get too, free parking, better food prices, and some of the proceeds go to helping out local youth sports. Am looking forward to supporting the new venue and the regular vendors, and perhaps some new ones???
Besides, the seminars are worth the price of admission, last year i met and spoke with Charlie Cinto and Janet Messino, from The Vineyard, for several minutes. Very COOL, and very down to earth anglers, true ambassadors of our sport..........
Reel, keepin' it reel. Should be a Awesome, lads!
