Opinions Wanted - Fin-Nor Offshore Spinning Reels

Hello,

I was going to buy one for sbft last year but I decided to wait until they were out for a while. Anyone own one? Positives? Negatives?

Thanks

Havent heard much on them. Shimano has upgraded their spheros 14000 and 18000 to 44 lbs of drag, I'm headed there.

I don't own one but I have fished them. They're nice but I never saw a big enough difference to warrant the price tag. Another issue is maintenance. It was was extremely difficult to get the manufacturer to repair the reel when things went wrong, which actually happened quickly. Not to mention the price of maintenance. Personally I have always been penn man.

Though they are BIG, they seem extra heavy weight wise.

I would go with a nice shimano, although I am using an Okuma.
After I hook one up on the spin I'll know if they are any good !!!!!!
