Block Island Report

Fished the block hard this past weekend with a few members of the CT Surfcasters.
Friday night fished the entire west side, Dorries, Gracies, Dump, then onto the south in the Snake Hole area, 3 fish between 5 of us. Saturday night tried the northeast side from Mansion Beach and to the north way up around the corner, 2 fish between us that night.

We threw everything from eels, needlefish, danny & lex swimmers, you name it we threw it.

Crystal clear water, full moon as bright as could be and not a single cloud in the sky probably had to do with the bad fishing.

John,
We actually had a nice west wind when we fished the west side creating some white water, that's actually where I got my fish, just too clear and bright the entire weekend.
It's a great place though.
