Ay, the beauty of fall fishing

What I like about fall fishing? Driving on hour, fishing 3, driving one hour and still being home by 10pm ... Probably would have fished longer but blues put big dent in eels. Would have like to been there a little earlier but, Oh well...

Managed a few bass up to the mid twenties and several blues (no matter how much you try to avoid them) with a decent east south east wind pushing almost in the face and some wet rollers (forgot the rain shell ) but it wasn't too cold out last night, actually warmer than expected.

I love the fall....

John, looked for you at c-town last night, but I know it wasn't you that was the ONLY other guy fishing the end with me ----THATS one of the nice things about fall fishing too Thirty guys less in just one week. One 36" bass and one blue, but I had to run to pick up my daughter just as the water was getting good.

I also forgot my rain top with hood, and kept getting buckets of water over the head from those swells. I found a new way to lose a plug too: drifted a brand spanking new FLOATING Atom Jr out, got a wave upside the head, take 30 seconds to get the water out of my ear, start to reel in, and I'm snagged on bottom. What the f$%^! Then proceed to lose another swimmer to a blue that gets sucked into the rocks before I could grab the leader. I don't know, I'm on a plug losing tear this year. At least I found one while looking for the lost blue
