ground fishing trip - newbie

I am taking my first groundfishing trip in a few weeks on a charter boat (no names as not to offend anyone) and have no idea what to bring. They supply all "gear" but should I buy some of my own jigs and or teasers? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

if your going on a charter they should have the correct set-up for what your fishing for.Sunblock and beer is all you need.

they supply a pos rod with weights, hooks, and clams. thats it.

If you want to jig you have to bring your own jigs. sometimes you can get a jig from the boat with a deposit.
Go into fishing finatics in Everett. they'll set you up with the jigs, teasers. even rig them up with leaders.
