well we decided to buddy boat and go to one of my spots for the day and all I can say is it was reel good out there. Both boats caught and everyone brought tuna home. Lots of bait and fish to be had. Buckman and co. have some pics and I'll post pics later tonight. Today was the way itis supposed to be.

Nice job putting the boats onto the fish. Just cracked a cold one to celebrate.

I'm jealous. I just changed a $hitty diaper to celebrate. That spot we went to always holds fish during that tide and this moon phase. 99% guaranteed. That why I suggested that spot. BTW- nice pics and video you guys took. Have fun cleaning the fish I know Mike will be having a ball.

Headed out east today with Matt in Galantis boat and Chris with me and my dad in our boat. Had lines in the water and started working an area. Found some birds with tuna on top for about 30 seconds. Marked that and 30 seconds later the 50w starts singing. I got on the rod, Got it to the boat, leadered it, but before we could grab the gaff the hook pulled. First fish released! Went over the MOB and hooked up again and the 50w is singing again. I got on the road. Got it to the boat and put a gaff in him! Nice 57" fish! First blood on hot reels. Put the spread out again went over the MOB and the okuma 50w starts going off. Got it to the boat, my dad leadered it, and released it. Fish was hook really good and was a bit of a pain to get out.
Put the spread out again and went over the MOB again and the 50w starts SCREAMING. Clear the spread and my dad gets on the rod. The fish almost spooled a 50w filled with 80 pound mono. We kept on upping the drag till it slowed down with 60 yards left on the spool. After a 30 min. fight i leadered it and released a REALLY nice 65"-67" fish.

Trolled around a but but the bite died. An awsome day out east, first blood for the year! First fish was about 52"... third fish released was about 55"
