Venison has little or no fat. For the chops use an outdoor grill flame fairly high and sear the meat but DO NOT OVERCOOK! You want it rare inside. I mix olive oil, warm water crushed garlic and oregano in a jar and mix it good. spoon over chops while cooking be carefull it will flame up the grill and put some of whats left over onto the cooked meat. Ok for the burger you need to add some fat to it. I use ground pork about 1/3 of a lb. for every lb. Add whatever you like for seasonings it makes great burgers, meatballs or meatloafs. Now i'm hungry and deerless so far!

Mr.Macey like c-ratt said don't over cook it. It does take a little bit of eating it to acquire the taste. Maybe Goose will chime in with his secret marinade. I had some tips with it and it was by far the best marinaded venison I have ever had.

Remove ALL the fat content (very important) venision fat and blood is what'll give you that gamey taste. I marinate it in a little white wine, vinigar, (water or beer), mrs Dash, garlic (minched) orgenao, accent and check your pm's...lol. Marinate for at least 12 to 18 hrs. Follow Canalratt's instructions and you'll mint. I wonder if MikeCC has a grill over at his place
