I wrap no- freeze electric cord around them and them plug the cord into my Honda Generator. Which I can put on my boat or carry in a load tray on the front of my beach buggy.

If your using braid switch to mono because braid freezes first.

The only winter fishing I do is ice fishing and flyfishing for trout. I have found when flyfishing it makes a big difference to have a clean and dressed flyline. They sell a paste like substance made by loon outdoors just for this problem, but I just but some chapstick and wipe it on all my guides.

My grandfather used bees wax,the chapstick works just as well

To some these pieces of art can be priceless, to me they are worth what you catch with them.

[I],ve been a steady /braid guy. but I also bring a mono setup . well I,ve been too confortable bring two briad setups ups . we,ll last night it cost me ,,time & fishing wise . I got a wind knot .which usually is no big deal , except last nite with the cold & snow It froze & there is no way I could mess with a frozen windnot , So in my truck is my mono backup .where it should have been ..
