I'm not aware of unoriginal scuds so I don't know how to answer that. Don't know the history. I just know the ones I am selling are fish catchers. These are made by a gentleman in RI and I believe they are only sold out of Twin Maples on BI and Sam's Bait and Tackle. 55 is for all of them. I was thinking 10 per and 5 for shipping was a good deal.

These are running more in the 2-3 oz. range.

I've seen some other needles called scuds that look like but weight in at 2oz...

the design threw me.....

My last one from 20 i bought 6 years ago...

These are the 'slim' scuds. the originals were huge Wad style needles...

one of the best as the mini-scud in like green...
