on the water t.v.; things i would like to see
i would like to see the use of circle hooks , since i swithed to circle hooks i have had only 1 deep hooked fish , it was pilot error ( i was not paying attenion) and and it was not that bad of a hook, no gills , no guts . i realize that they need to put fish in the boat for ratings but i think it would send a better message to be a little more fish friendly . i hate seeing blood running out of there gills as they hold them up (that is on all t.v. shows) . the learning curve for using circle hooks is not that hard .

I did see a gut hooked fish on OTW yesterday. Too bad. Perhaps someone should invent a circle hooked treble?

In all Honesty....lets slow down on the Stripers, I love to fish for them but its every other episode......there are dozens of other species of fish to fish for in this area of the country. Lets mix it up a little.
of there 1st 5 seasons (50 episodes) 27 of them were about Stripers....and what was yesterdays about...Stripers.
Variety would be nice

I'm a real fan of the show. They've probably done it (and I missed it) but I'd love to see a night fishing, plugs from shore episode. I know lighting is an issue, but with today's tech, they don't need much light. I'd also like to see tidal rivers being fished with flies. And an episode on fishing brackish rivers along wharfs and docks would be cool. Keep up the good work. And don't expose spots, whenever p[ossible.

I think that OTW was started because of the striped bass and I think the general public wants to see the striped bass on the show. I think they do a nice mix of freshwater and saltwater, but yes, they do always come back to the striped bass which I personally enjoy.

I'd like to see chicks in bikinis, rubbing bunker oil all over them and swimming in a cove to get a good slick going, then livelining some bunker afterwards as they wrestle to see who gets to reel the fish in.

i agree there are alot of striper episodes......but i cant say i get bored watching them. i don't fish with many people, not sure why, maybe just an anti social SOB, but seeing the striper episodes either justifies things I do or shows me ways to improve or "fix" things.
it was nice seeing bill too. i miss him on here.
